Chef de Cuisine
Chef de Cuisine Sven-Ole Hastreiter is a native of Schleswig who knew, growing up in the cold northern climes, that one day he would be a chef. An alternative plan was not necessary. Beginning as an inexperienced cook, he took the chance to pursue a career and became a creative head cook in Mainz, beginning his career with Hyatt. Chef Hastreiter is a young and open-minded man in an open kitchen, surprising guests every time with fresh and innovative cuisine.
Restaurant leader Eike Rupp is a host with heart and soul. Since the age of 17, he has been an integral part of the Hyatt team in Mainz. After successfully completing his professional training and after different positions in the banquet and bar areas of the hotel, he has led Bellpepper Restaurant since January 2016. As a caring person with a warm and easy character, he listens to every guest and helps deliver every culinary desire.
